PJ Enginering Products’ offshore fabrication project award gains press recognition

The PJ Engineering Products team has been awarded a contract by IHC Engineering BusinessPJ Engineering Products has received press recognition for its contract award and involvement in a highly innovative offshore project.

The project has been awarded by IHC Engineering Business to work on their latest subsea cable laying and trenching vehicle, Hi-Traq. The vehicle is the first of its kind and will act as a demonstration prototype, leading the way in trenching and laying of inter-array cables for offshore renewable energy projects.

PJ Engineering Products will fabricate the vehicle’s chassis and track sides, and is delighted to be involved in such a high-profile project and working closely with IHC Engineering Business as part of an on-going relationship between the two North East based engineering firms.

The project is being delivered in conjunction with the RETA project, which is part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund Programme, run by The Department for Communities and Local Government.
